Here is the XI you chose (as of 16:30 BST on Thursday).
Goalkeepers
Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon may never have won the Champions League but he was your number one pick in goal, in 32% of teams.
Iker Casillas was second on 29%, while Edwin van der Sar featured in 14% of sides.
Defenders
You went for Paolo Maldini (73%), Sergio Ramos (52%), Dani Alves (40%) and Roberto Carlos (40%).
AC Milan icon Maldini was the third most-selected player in the team (you can guess the top two).
Philipp Lahm (34%) and Carles Puyol (32%) were unlucky not to make the team. They were the 10th and 11th most selected players overall – but finished behind four defenders.
Midfielders
You picked a midfield three of Zinedine Zidane (63%), Andres Iniesta (53%) and Xavi (40%).
Juventus and Real Madrid legend Zidane was actually the most-picked player in all three midfield spots – with former Barcelona duo Iniesta and Xavi coming next.
This was the least contested position. Ex-Liverpool and England midfielder Steven Gerrard, the most selected British player, was the fourth most popular midfielder – but only in 23% of your teams.
Forwards
Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo (90%) and Barcelona’s Lionel Messi (88%) were always going to get in the team – and ex-Arsenal striker Thierry Henry (26%) sneaks into the front three by the finest of margins.
Former Real Madrid man Ronaldo was the top pick in two positions but was selected in more left-wing spots than at centre forward, which meant that spot went to the next highest number nine pick – which was Henry… by just 0.2% from Robert Lewandowski.
If Bayern Munich striker Lewandowski scores in Sunday’s final and we do this again next season it might be a different matter.
You can still pick your all-time XI below and share it with your friends on social media – but it will not count towards the team selected on this page.
